DONATE TO THE PCF

As neighbors and as a community, we believe we are stronger together as we help local nonprofits provide a better life to those in need in Mecklenburg County. In order to do so, the neighbors of the Peninsula Community, who make up the Board of Directors, carefully evaluate both the needs of the community and effectiveness of local charities. These factors determine which organizations get funded by the PCF, and priority is given to those charities that most effectively use PCF donations to achieve tangible, quantifiable results.

The Peninsula Community Foundation supports local, Lake Norman area charities. We carefully evaluate both the needs of the community and effectiveness of each charity in delivering on their mission statement. These factors determine which organizations get funded by the PCF, and priority is given to those charities that will use PCF donations to achieve tangible, quantifiable results.

The Peninsula Community Foundation is a private operating foundation that is registered as a nonprofit, charitable organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code.
